Calcium and Milk Not Lower Weight?

Recent research shows a statement that did not support the theory that the previous consumption of milk and calcium is also useful to reduce body weight.

Calcium and dairy products (rich source of calcium) are associated with the previously suspected decrease in body weight. It is based on the amount of data that states that calcium plays a role in the synthesis of fat. However, the latest research on calcium and milk consumption associated with the weight it gives results that otherwise.

The researchers from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, New York has tested the relationship between calcium consumption and weight changes in the men's 43,000 volunteers. In fact, the total consumption of calcium does not provide a significant influence on changes in body weight. The report has been published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Known that men who consume milk or calcium had not experienced a decrease in body weight, they tend to become fat after a period of 12 years. That is because the consumption of milk products that are high fat. However, low fat milk consumption is also known to have a relationship that is not too significant changes in body weight.

Calcium is an important role for the optimal health of body, but not for weight loss. Therefore, we should consume enough calcium from food daily, including from the milk and will be better if we consume milk in the form of low fat.
